Insulation

Well finally went and picked up some insulating materials, I opted for for the budget approach.

I picked up a roll of laminate flooring underlay for the floor and headlining and a couple of roles of 75mm Isulating foam, made from recycled plastic for the sides.

I took all the ply lining out, the floor was a nightmare as some of the screws had been pushed in so far that they needed more than a little persuasion to get them back out, the headlining came down too and spray adhesive was used to affix everything, with the high temp stuff used on the ceiling.

Seems to all look ok I'm not spending weeks on end in there so I'm sure it will suffice for the odd camping trip.

Wheels

Picked an 18" set of these up today, not got any pics fitted but am really pleased with them.

The van is still sitting far too high but I've got a 60mm lowering kit on order from T4sRUS so will post before and after pics as soon as I've got it fitted.

The Van

Well this is the van, picked it up in April, it's a 2003 888 special X pack, pretty clean all the way round, Full VW service history and 130k on the clock. Will make a good base to start with.
